Supported Models
All Growatt inverters with a WiFi stick (ShineWiFi-X, ShineWiFi-S, ShineLAN-X):
- MIC series: MIC 600-3300TL-X (single-string grid-tie)
- MIN series: MIN 2500-6000TL-XE (dual-string grid-tie)
- MOD series: MOD 3000-10KTL3-X (three-phase)
- SPH series: SPH 3000-10000 (hybrid with battery)
Prerequisites
- A Growatt inverter with a WiFi stick connected to your WiFi network
- A Growatt account at server.growatt.com (same as ShinePhone app)
- Your inverter registered to a plant in your Growatt account
Step 1: Get your Growatt API token
- Open server.growatt.com in a web browser
- Log in with your Growatt/ShinePhone credentials
- Click Setting in the top navigation bar
- You should be on the Account Management tab
- Scroll down to find API Token
- Click Open to generate a token, then accept the terms
- Your 32-character API token will be displayed — copy it
Step 2: Add the inverter in Lyvra
- Open the Lyvra app and navigate to your location
- Tap Add Asset → Solar Panels → Growatt
- Paste your API token in the token field
- Tap Connect — Lyvra will discover all inverters on your account
- Select your inverter(s) and confirm
Available Data
Once connected, Lyvra displays:
- Current power — Real-time AC output (kW), updated every ~5 minutes
- Today's energy — Energy produced today (kWh)
- Total energy — Lifetime energy production (kWh)
- PV string data — Voltage, current, power per string
- AC output — Voltage, current, frequency
- Inverter temperature and status
For hybrid inverters (SPH), battery state of charge and charge/discharge power are also available.
Solar Surplus Charging
When a Growatt inverter is connected, Lyvra uses actual solar production data instead of estimating from meter exports. This makes solar surplus charging decisions significantly more accurate. No additional configuration needed — it works automatically.
Troubleshooting
- Invalid API token: Make sure you copied the full 32-character token. Check that the API token is enabled (not disabled) at server.growatt.com. Try clicking "Reactivate Token" in your account settings
- No inverters found: Verify your inverter is registered to a plant at server.growatt.com. Check that the WiFi stick is online (green LED). The inverter must have reported data at least once to appear
- Data not updating: The WiFi stick uploads data every ~5 minutes. At night, the inverter goes offline (this is normal). Check that the WiFi stick is connected to your router
- Rate limiting: The Growatt Open API allows 1 request per 5 minutes per endpoint. Lyvra polls every 5 minutes which stays within limits
